Three moves
Dot it. Ring it. Split it.
One table, one cash box, several families. The hard part of a shared sale is not selling: it is knowing whose quarter is whose at 3 PM.

Dot it
Each family gets a colour and a letter. Print a sheet of round price stickers in that colour, or write the letter on the dots you already bought.

Ring it
At the table, tap the dot colour and the price for each sticker you peel off. Pricedot adds the ticket, takes off any half-price-hour discount and counts out the change.

Split it
Count the cash box by bills and coins. Pricedot returns the float, splits shared costs and any shortage by share of sales, and prints a settle sheet.

The holder is the family that put up the float, paid the shared costs and took the card and phone-app payments, so their cash share is adjusted by those amounts.
